About BOMA SF’s Advocacy

Advocacy is at the heart of BOMA San Francisco’s mission. We serve as your voice in the city, state, and federal government, ensuring the interests of the commercial real estate industry are protected.

 

As a BOMA SF member, you are represented by a dedicated government affairs team at all levels of government, working proactively to advance your priorities. We monitor legislation, engage with policymakers, and advocate for policies that strengthen the commercial real estate industry.

 

Through our local public policy committees—Government Affairs, Codes & Regulations, Energy, Sustainability & Resiliency, and Life Safety & Security—members discuss key issues, alert the membership to developments, and provide expert guidance to legislators and regulators.

 

BOMA SF also operates active Political Action Committees (PACs) at the local, state, and federal levels to support candidates and initiatives aligned with our industry’s priorities.

As an affiliate of the California Business Properties Association (CBPA), BOMA California collaborates with partners across the state to advance CRE-friendly policy solutions.
