Principal Building Membership Online Application
Principal Building Membership is available to any commercial property located within San Francisco, San Mateo, Sonoma, and Marin Counties. Building dues range from a minimum of $1,836 to a maximum of $9,022, as determined by a factor applied to net rentable square footage. For multiple buildings under the same ownership, the largest building is assessed the applicable dues rate; all others pay 50% of applicable rate, but no less than the minimum dues of $1,836.
All employees that are directly employed and involved in the day-to-day operations of a dues paying building are considered members and may participate as such at member rates. They are included on our email distribution list.
Please Note: As of July 1, dues are prorated at 60% until September 30. At that time, full dues are applied but membership extends until December 31 of the following year.
Associate Member Online Application
Associate Membership is available to firms or corporations providing products or services to the commercial building industry. Associate dues are $1,836 per year.
Any employee of a dues paying company is considered a member, may participate in the association as such, and may join the email event notification list.
Please Note: As of July 1, dues are prorated at 60% for the remainder of calendar year.
Student Member Online Application
Student membership is available to persons actively enrolled in the Fellows Programs at SF State, Merritt College, or other colleges and universities.
Student dues are free.
