Government Affairs (GAC)

Mission

The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meets with those who propose or decide public policy, analyzes existing or proposed legislation and/or regulations to determine the impact on BOMA members, and recommends for BOMA board approval what position the association should take on such matters.

Goals

  • Educate and inform members, elected and administrative officials, as well as the general public about issues of significance to commercial real estate plus BOMA’s position on those issues
  • Aid the association by seeking the enactment of legislation and codes which encourage high standards of industry development while also allowing for efficient yet economical buildings

How to Join
