BOMA San Francisco’s DEI Committee works towards bringing greater diversity, equity and inclusion to BOMA and the industry we represent. 

Guiding Principles

BOMA San Francisco does not condone or tolerate racism, discrimination, or unequal treatment of anyone. We seek to create pathways to success for everyone interested in commercial real estate. We work to create an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work and be a valued, contributing member of the commercial real estate industry.

We honor all aspects of diversity including age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, and ethnicity.  

BOMA is committed to actively support human rights and social equity in alignment with the values of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. We especially embrace the BLM principles to create a culture where each person feels seen, heard and supported. We acknowledge, respect, and celebrate differences and commonalities. 

  • Identify member thoughts, feelings and concerns regarding diversity within BOMA and the commercial real estate industry.
  • Identify opportunities to educate members about the value of a more diverse workforce.
  • Propose actions that member companies can take to attract a more diverse pool of candidates into the workforce.
  • Support member information needs diversity and resources to address same.
